A leading soccer shoe manufacturer wanted to reduce the processing costs and improve the shoe soles' performance of a new fashion model.

Solution

PEARLTHANE D11T93, an injection moulding grade of 93 shore A hardness, which uses Merquinsa's unique proprietary copolymerization technology, was the solution.
Its outstanding fast cycling properties and mechanical performance made the difference. Polycaprolactone copolyester TPUs are special polyester TPUs with improved performance because of their higher crystallinity, reducing cycle times of a wide variety of injection moulding applications.
